Starter Kit

Note: Starter kits are no longer available due to the lack of a sponsor to donate (or partially donate) the materials for them. New Sponsors Are Welcome.

Approved wheels are available for $60 (Note: they have gone up from $40 due to higher costs from the supplier).

The items below are what we have supplied in our starter kits in the past.
They are items that are commonly used for the mechanics of an average car. Other parts will be required.
The body of the car is up to you to design and create.

For fairness, the approved wheels and bearings from us are mandatory. For more information, please see the Builders Manual.

14 feet	3/32'' aircraft steel cable (steering and brake cable)
8 pack	Cable crimps (cable end fasteners)
3	Turn buckles (to adjust steering and brake cables)
1	½'' X 3½'' bold with 2 flat washers & lock nut (front axel pivot)
1	¾'' X 24'' threaded pipe with 2 washers, end flange and roll pin (steering shaft)
2	5/16'' X 5'' eye bolts with 4 washers and 2 nuts (cable to axel connections)
3	3½'' X 3½'' butt hinges (for brake peddle and/or brake mechanism)
